After the destruction of the Old Spellbinder's Castle in an age known as The Darkness, the ancient Spellbinders moved to a new castle. Paul is taken to the ruins of the old Spellbinder's Castle by Ashka and Gryvon to test out his gunpowder in secret.

Spellbinder's Castle[]
The Spellbinder's castle is the residency of the Spellbinders. It is the only building in the Spellbinder World that is built of stone. The Castle is where the Spellbinders and Regents live, it is vast, richly decorated, has many servants and is surrounded by guards.
